During the investigation, Bylsma learned that the female driver of the Tundra was traveling eastbound on Beauregard Ave. As she entered the intersection on Koenigheim, she was struck by the Lincoln. Witnesses told Bylsma the light was green at the time. However, the female driver of the Lincoln, who was traveling northbound on Koenigheim, disregarded the red light and crashed into the Tundra.
