At approximately 7:42 p.m. yesterday, the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a vehicle fully engulfed in flames at the intersection of Wren Road and Caribou Trail in Grape Creek, said Deputy Fire Chief Jose Rivera.
Rivera said when firefighters arrived to the scene, the Ford was immersed in flames, but luckily no one got hurt. A fuel tank/line malfunction was a possible cause of the fire, said Rivera. The operator of the vehicle recently had the fuel tank worked on.
