Thursday is the Morning for Crashes in San Angelo

At 9:25 a.m. the driver of a GMC Sierra pickup traveling eastbound rammed the rear end of a 2011 GMC Terrain also traveling eastbound on Avenue N, said Officer Quade with the San Angelo Police Department.

Officer Quade said the driver of the Terrain had stopped on Avenue N and Pierce St. to make a left turn, but the driver of the pickup failed to stop. The woman driver who was hit complained of neck pain, so emergency personnel transported her to the San Angelo Community Medical Center. 

Officer Quade said the driver of the GMC Sierra pickup will receive a citation for failure to control speed. Because of the accident, the two center lanes on Avenue N had to be blocked off to traffic.
