A pedestrian was injured when she walked into a Suburban towing a rental trailer near the intersection of N. Archer St. and Pulliam St. at approximately 10 p.m. Monday night.

According to the San Angelo police, the Suburban with trailer was traveling at the speed limit eastbound on Pulliam. The driver of the Suburban saw the pedestrian and moved to the right lane to avoid her, he told police.
Suddenly, the Suburban driver and a passenger in the driver’s side back seat saw the pedestrian walk into the trailer and fall down. The Suburban driver stopped to render aid.

Police were a bit perplexed about the events. When we arrived the scene, the pedestrian was screaming in pain and agony, complaining of an injury to her leg. An ambulance whisked her away to the hospital.
Police said the incident is still under investigation and no citations were issued.
