Driver Extracted in Bryant Car Crash

 

Several lanes of traffic are closed down on Bryant and Ave. N, where a major car crash is obstructing the road.

 One northbound lane on Bryant Blvd. is open to through traffic, while the eastbound lane of Ave. N has been closed.

A blue Ford Explorer and white Crown Victoria are involved in the crash. A woman, reported over the radio to be 33, was trapped inside the SUV but has since been extracted. Two ambulances are on scene; however, neither has left yet. 

Update 3:48 p.m.

According to the investigating officer, the Crown Victoria was northbound on Bryant while the Explorer, headed southbound on Bryant, was turning left onto Ave. N. The Crown Victoria t-boned the SUV, flipping it over. 

Two occupants of the Explorer were sent to Shannon Medical Center, the officer said. The extent of the injuries is unknown. 

Citations will be issued pending further investigation.
