Two females were rushed to Shannon Medical Center after a Chevrolet Colorado Pickup collided into their Ford Focus at the intersection of Marx St. and 20th St. in north San Angelo shortly before 10 a.m. today.

According to the San Angelo police, the driver of the Ford Focus traveling eastbound on 20th St. failed to yield the right-of-way to the pickup that was northbound on Marx and a collision ensued.

The man driving the pickup was not injured.
Police cited the driver of the Focus for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.
