Driver-in-Training Causes Crash in Southland

A 17-year-old with a driver learner’s permit pulled out in front of a Chevrolet pickup at the intersection of Southland Blvd. and College Hills Blvd. A collision was the result just after 5 p.m.

According to San Angelo Police Traffic Investigator Brian Bylsma, a white Chevrolet Silverado was southbound on College Hills and as the pickup approached the Southland intersection, the 17-year-old pulled out into the intersection in a maroon Chevrolet Suburban. “He said he didn’t see the Chevy truck,” Bylsma said.
