Major Crash at Bryant and Houston Harte Required Four Ambulances

A major crash occurred just before 9 p.m.at the intersection of the Houston Harte Expressway and N. Bryant, in the northbound lanes. Two vehicles are involved and four ambulances were witnessed leaving the scene with lights and sirens.

Police are conducting a full, formal crash investigation. While they do, all of the northbound lanes in the 500 block of N. Bryant are blocked. The left turn onto 6^th St. to head east on the Houston Harte Expressway is blocked too.

The crash was between a Buick Enclave and a Nissan Altima.

We expect the investigation to continue into the early morning hours and will update the story once police release any information.

The initial investigation was concluded at approximately 11 p.m. Thursday evening. Police said alcohol was suspected to be a contributing factor in this crash.
