At Least One Hospitalized in Lunchtime Crash

At least one individual was hospitalized after a car accident on the intersection of Sunset and Sherwood Way today at a few minutes after noon.

According to the preliminary investigation conducted by Brian Bylsma, a silver Chevy Suburban was west bound on Sherwood and turned from a left hand lane into the intersection on a green light. A white Chevy Traverse was eastbound on Sherwood and pulled in front of the Suburban, causing the accident.

The investigation is still pending as the investigating officer had not yet had the opportunity to speak to the occupants of the Traverse.

The extent of the injuries and total number of those affected had not been determined at the time of reporting, due to an ongoing investigation.
