Police: Driver of Big, New Pickup Cited After Smashing into Little, Old Pickup

 

Two pickups collided on W. Avenue L this afternoon shortly after 2 p.m.

An early model compact white Chevy pickup was westbound on on W. Avenue L and a late model Chevrolet C2500 black pickup was at a stop sign on Jackson, and attempted to cross in front of the white pickup. A collision ensued.

Both pickups had a single occupant, the driver, and neither one of them asked for medical treatment at the scene.

Police cited the driver of the black pickup for failure to yield at a stop sign.
