Killeen Man Killed in Rollover Crash Near Sterling City

 

A 32-year-old Killeen man died in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning on U.S. 87 in Sterling County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The DPS reported that Oscar George Smith was southbound, driving a 1999 Honda Passport at approximately 6:15 a.m. The Honda SUV veered from the road about 4.5 miles south of Sterling City and rolled.

Smith was pronounced dead at the scene, the DPS reported.

Texas DPS in Big Spring were the crash investigators.
