A suspected drunk driver flipped his vehicle upside-down in a three-vehicle, one driver crash in the 1300 block of East Harris Street Friday night.
The suspected drunk was eastbound on Harris and hit the rear fat tire of a parked white pickup. His vehicle’s passenger-side, front tire rode up on the parked truck’s rear tire causing the vehicle to rollover to the left.
The vehicle came to a rest in the middle of Harris, blocking traffic both ways.
The driver was not injured and police suspected him of being under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the Tom Green County Jail where tests for his blood-alcohol level will be conducted.
The crash damaged three vehicles. Including the suspected drunk’s vehicle and the white pickup, the force of the impact pushed the white pickup into red Chevrolet pickup that was parked in front.
Home Motors quickly removed the flipped vehicle from the middle of the road and Harris traffic was back to normal as of 11 p.m.
