A driver of a pickup was ejected from his pickup in a rollover crash on FM 2288 near the Melrose intersection at approximately 12:30 a.m. early this morning.
Police said that the male driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and he was transported to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries. Police said it was a single-vehicle crash.
The crash scene closed all five lanes encompassing the roadway during the investigation and reporters were not allowed to get close to the crash scene. All we observed other than emergency vehicles were two vehicles parked in the middle of the roadway with their hazard lights blinking.
Police said more information may be released once the preliminary investigation is complete.
