Driver Suffers Seizure and Crashes into Parked Car, Damaging Building

 

A male driver of a pickup was northbound on Austin Street traveling through the 1900 block when police said he suffered a seizure.

As a result of the seizure, the driver lost control and ran into a parked car in the parking lot of the commercial building, damaging the car and the building at 1901 Austin Street.

The driver was transported to Community Medical Center to evaluate his condition.

San Angelo Police Officer Loudermilk said there are no citations in the crash that happened at around 11:15 a.m. this morning. San Angelo police and the San Angelo Fire Department and EMS crews tended to the scene.
