Chrysler 200 and Silverado Crash Closes Browning Street Sunday Afternoon

A silver Chrysler 200 had significant damage to the front end following a crash with a gold Chevrolet Silverado on Browning Street Sunday afternoon at 4:35 p.m. One person was seen strapped to a backboard wearing a neck brace being loaded into a ambulance.

Ladder 1, Medic 6 and San Angelo police were there. Browning Street was completely blocked and Preusser was down to one lane.

The Silverado was traveling northbound on Browning and was directed by a traffic sign to yield to traffic on Preusser. Police determined that the Silverado did not yield, and drove into the pathway of the Chrysler which ran into the pickup. The driver of the Silverado was issued a citation for Failure to Yield the Right-of-Way.

Police said the driver of the Chrysler was rushed to Shannon. The airbag deployed and may have broken the driver's collarbone.
