A motor vehicle crash on Ave. N and Bryant has resulted in three people being transported to the hospital Saturday evening.
The crash involved a grey Kia sedan and a black Dodge Ram 1500 truck. Currently, the Ave. N eastbound is completely shutdown, and two of the three southbound lanes of Bryant are completely shut off due to a debris field, where glass, bumpers and car parts lay.
A witness on scene said there were at least three children involved in the crash, two in the truck and one in the car. The child in the truck was described as a "tween", who sustained a gash injury to the face during the crash.
Not much information is available on the extent of injuries or occupants is currently available, however three people were placed on gurneys and transported to the hospital with lights, but no sirens.
San Angelo Police, Fire Department and medics are on scene.
Update 10:03 p.m.
Sgt. Korby Kennedy said the Kia was westbound on Ave. N and the Dodge disregarded a red light, resulting in a crash at the intersection.
The driver and a juvenile passenger in the Kia were transported to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries, along the juvenile passenger.
The investigation is ongoing, however the driver of the Dodge will likely be cited for disregarding the red light, Kennedy said.
