WATCH: Midland Lee's Final Charge

ARLINGTON, TX -- Since the opening of Globe Life Park in Arlington in 1994 the Texas Rangers gave given baseball fans some barn-burning finishes. On Saturday night the Midland Lee Rebels and the Euless Trinity Trojans gave Texas high school football fans a finish to remember where the Rangers once called home.

Despite holding a two-touchdown lead at the half the Midland Lee Rebels struggled to contain the Trojans in the second half as they watched Trinity score 28 unanswered points.

The Rebels were able to bounce back with a pair of late touchdowns but in the end, Lee just ran out of time as Trinity scored with 15 seconds left in the game for the go-ahead lead to clinch the 56-49 win and the Class 6A Area Round Championship.

Watch the highlights from this exciting Texas high school football showdown along with the emotional postgame comments from Midland Lee head Coach Clint Hartman and senior QB1 Mikey Serrano.
