WATCH: The Team That Texas Is Chasing

SWEETWATER, TX -- It was another dominating performance from the No. 1 ranked team in Class 3A Division 1 Brock Eagles as they assembled a 69-34 area round win over the Denver City Mustangs on Thursday night. 

The Eagles made themselves right at home at the historic Mustang Bowl in Sweetwater scoring on all seven drives in the first half not to mention the Eagles defense only allowed Denver City past midfield once. 

Two of the scoring drives were due to Denver City turnovers deep in Brock territory that allowed the Eagles to carry a 49-0 lead into the half. 

The area round win added to the Eagles argument as being clear cut favorites to bring home the program's second state title. In twelve games this season Brock is averaging better than 57 points per game while notching dominating wins over Region I powerhouse programs Bushland and Pilot Point.
