#COVER1: Quest For State History Continues For Richland Springs

ABILENE, TX -- The Richland Springs Coyotes ended Strawn's run at the program's third straight state title beating the Greyhounds 62-14 advancing to the Class 1A Division II State Championship Game. 

The 8-time state champion Coyotes are now in position to claim the program's 9th state championship which would make them the winningest program in Texas high school football history. 

Richland Springs moves on to face Motley County in the Class 1A Division II State Championship on Wednesday, December 18th at 2pm at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
