Grape Creek Counting On 2019 To Turn Doubters Into Believers

GRAPE CREEK, TX -- Following a 3-7 season in 2018 you wouldn't think a team like the Grape Creek Eagles would be working with some serious momentum.

That's exactly what the kids from the north end of Tom Green County are operating with heading into the 2019 season. With 11 total starters returning and one full season under head coach Tanner Thiel the Eagles are looking to turn doubters into believers.

Thiel and the Eagles talk the team's unique wrinkle to their triple-option offense, the quarterback battle that's bringing out the best in the offense to how they feel about being competitive in a tough District 4-3A Division II.
