Lake View Chiefs Building Team and Winning Culture

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Lake View Chiefs not only snapped an 11-game losing streak in 2018 but sealed the program's first playoff win in four years. Moving forward it's all about building on the small wins for Chiefs head coach Hector Guevara as he enters his third season at the helm on the north side.

With 14 total starters returning from 2018 the Lake View Chiefs are working with plenty of momentum heading in the 2019 season. The spread offense along with junior QB1 Albert Rodriguez is giving the Chiefs and the north side of San Angelo hope.

As a sophomore in 2018, Rodriguez stepped in as the Chiefs starting quarterback and started in six games for Lake View. Albert's 1,168 yards and 11 touchdowns certainly set the tone as he enters his first full season as a varsity player.

Watch as head coach Hector Guevara and QB1 Albert Rodriguez talk about the Lake View culture along with having a full-time QB1 that's looking to take the program to the next level.
