Lost Horse Found Near Twin Buttes; Sheriff’s Office Seeking Owner

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A halter-broken sorrel gelding was found on February 8 on federal land near Twin Buttes in Tom Green County, according to the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities are searching for the horse’s owner and ask anyone with information to contact Deputy David Newsom or Sherry Guevara at 325-655-8111. Proof of ownership will be required.

A local resident is currently caring for the horse while officials work to reunite him with his rightful owner or find him a suitable home.

The sheriff’s office is encouraging the public to help spread the word.
