TGC Sheriff’s Office Launches Redesigned, Enhanced Website

SAN ANGELO, TX - The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office launched a new redesigned, enhanced website on December 5, 2024, where residents can find the latest information regarding the operations of the Sheriff's Office, as well as inmate bookings, released inmates, most wanted individuals, and warrants.

The new website, www.tomgreencountysheriff.org continues to serve as an information resource for the public and assists the community with community policing efforts. The responsive design allows site visitors to access the information they want and need from any device (desktop, laptop, tablet, and smartphone) with simple, flexible navigation.

Some of the features and functions on the newly upgraded website include:

• Alerts: allows the public to sign up to receive alert notifications from the Sheriff's Office via email (notifications via App will be available soon) - including General, Inmate Roster, Sheriff's Messages, Most Wanted, Press Releases, and Special Alert updates.
   
• Contact Form: an online form available to contact the Sheriff's Office via email.
   
• Crime Map: allows the public to view locations where crimes have occurred in the area. The crime map displays icon pinpoints for up to 15 specific crime types. Visitors may choose to view all crime types or select to view by specific crime type or by date period.
   
• Crime Tips Form: an online form allowing users to attach photos, video, audio, or other files while submitting non-emergency crime tips.
   
• Departments & Services: information available regarding the departments & services of the Sheriff's Office organized on different pages.
   
• Facebook Link: allows users to follow or view the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office on Facebook.
   
• Inmate Roster: allows the public to view photos and information for individuals booked into the detention center and/or released within the last 48 hours.
   
• Most Wanted: allows the public to view descriptions and photos of wanted individuals.
   
• Press Releases: allows the public to view a list in date order of press releases and news items posted by the Sheriff's Office.
   
• Sex Offenders Link: important sex offender information that can be easily navigable by users on the home page or inner pages.
   
• Sheriff's Message: recent messages from the Sheriff with the ability to view all previous messages shared.
   
• Warrants: allows the public to view current information and photos of those with outstanding warrants. We welcome the community's help in locating these individuals.

A new upgraded App will be available in the Google Play Store and Apple Store soon! Once the App is available in both stores, app push notifications will resume. Please check back to the Download Our App page in the near future.

All residents of Tom Green County and the general public are encouraged to visit our newly upgraded website! Website administrators are able to publish important information including updated information, upcoming events, recent news, and more! The website will be updated continually, with new information that will benefit all users.

Since the launch of the last website, we have introduced enhancements and new technology to increase the transparency of our office and to provide a 24/7 information source for county residents and visitors," stated Sheriff Hanna.
