Sixteen individuals spent at least part of their Thanksgiving behind bars, the majority of which were charged with either alcohol-related offenses or violence.
Three people were jailed on public intoxication charges, and another three were jailed for DWI. Another two were booked for assault, two more for affray (disorderly conduct), as well as two for possession and one for pot.
Of the drunk drivers, one female was also charged with exhibition of acceleration and assaulting a public servant.
