Inmates Booked on Multiple Charges Monday

Thirty-two inmates were booked into the county jail on Monday, many of which were present on committments from prior charges.

A large majority had multiple charges--some with two to three for the same thing--and most were booked on either drug or theft charges.

Three individuals were put behind bars on committments for DWI, while four manufacture/delivery charges were doled out to two inmates, who each had two counts apiece. There were five marijuana possession charges on the report, as well as five theft, again split among a couple of inmates.

One person was jailed on two counts of credit card abuse, another for injury to a child/elderly/disabled person, and another for sale of alcohol to minors. One more was charged with public intoxication and one with possession.

Thirty-five inmates were released on Monday.
