Thirty-one inmates were jailed on Tuesday, the vast majority of which had multiple charges. That majority was also jailed primarily on warrants for past offenses, many of which had been recently indicted.
Theft and possession of drugs saw the highest number of charges at nine counts each, followed by two for fraud, two for evading, two for pot and two for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
Assault, resisting arrest, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, public intoxication and driving while intoxicated each accounted for one charge apiece.
Twenty-eight inmates were released on Tuesday.
