Drugs Leading Charge on Thursday

Twenty-eight people were put behind bars at the county jail on Thursday, seven of which had at least one drug charge against them. Four more were booked on DWIs, followed by three for public intoxication and three for theft. 

Two were charged with evading arrest, and one apiece was booked on assault, possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana, forgery and minor in possession charges. Several inmates were booked on multiple charges, and many were picked up on warrants stemming from past incidents. 

Thirty-three were released from jail on Thursday.
