Inmates Booked Thursday for Crimes Against Children

Forty-one inmates were booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Thursday for a wide range of charges, many of which were picked up on warrants for previous charges.

Among those booked Thursday was one individual charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and another individual charged with sexual abuse of a child. 

Possession of marijuana accounted for another seven bookings, followed by five for theft, four assaults, three DWI and possession charges and two manufacture/delivery charges. 

There was also one inmate booked for PI, one for credit/debit card abuse and one picked up on a prior deadly conduct charge. 

Twenty-nine inmates were released on Thursday.
