Theft and Pot Arrests High on Monday

Theft and pot-related arrests were up on Monday, when six of 31 arrested were booked on one or more counts of theft. An additional five had been arrested for pot possession, while possession of other drugs remained low at one.

Assault and public intoxication each accounted for two arrests Monday, along with one DWI, one credit card abuse charge and one warrant arrest for manslaughter.

There were 27 inmates released on Monday.
