Alcohol, drugs and theft seemed to be the crimes of choice on Wednesday, Jan. 29, with three inmates booked for DWIs, one for public intoxication, five for drug possession and five for theft.
A couple of the inmates also double-dipped, with one inmate booked for both public intoxication and assault, and another for driving while intoxicated and drug possesion.
Assault had fewer numbers, with only two inmates booked into Tom Green County Jail.
In total, there were 21 inmates booked into the jail Wednesday, while 19 were released.
