How San Angelo Businesses Stay Afloat During COVID-19 Crisis

SAN ANGELO, TX -- As each day passes during this coronavirus pandemic, the question is not only how can this country prevent the spreading of the virus but how our economy can be saved, and espcially San Angelo's economy.

As scientists work hard to invent a vaccine for the coronavirus, the U.S. Government has passed a major economic relief bill aimed at small businesses.

The Payment Protection Program is part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act authorizing up to $349 billion in forgivable loans to small businesses to pay their workers, and keep them employed, during this COVID-19 crisis.

The Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program is also another form of assistance for small businesses. For more information and to check your eligibility for this program click here
