SAN ANGELO, TX — Records from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) confirm that popular Tex-Mex chain El Paisano is opening its fourth San Angelo location at 1901 Knickerbocker Road — the former Napoli's Italian Restaurant building.
A TABC license search shows an active permit issued Dec. 1, 2025, under the name "El Paisano Restaurant #4," with the location address listed as 1901 Knickerbocker Road.
A temporary "El Paisano #4 Coming Soon" sign was recently placed in the parking lot of The Shops at Stadium Park, directly in front of the space that has been vacant since Napoli's closed permanently in April 2025.
The confirmation follows earlier indicators reported by San Angelo LIVE! in September 2025, including staff training for a new location and the initial TABC application filing. As of January 2026, no official opening date has been announced.

- Original (#1): 1406 S. Chadbourne St.
- #2: 146 S. Bell St. (opened June 2025)
- #3: 2902 Sherwood Way (opened June 2024)
