SAN ANGELO, TX — A new boba shop is opening in San Angelo this weekend with giveaways, discounts, and a chance to win free drinks.
Rice Food & Boba, 3524 Knickerbocker Road, Suite D, will host its grand opening Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18. The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The first 50 customers on Saturday can buy any boba drink for $1, with only one drink limited to each person. All customers throughout the weekend will receive 20% off their total purchase.
Guests will also have the chance to spin a lucky draw wheel for prizes, including free drinks and discounts. Anyone who posts a photo at the event, tags @ricefoodboba, and uses the hashtag #ricetomeetsanangelo will be entered to win free boba for a month.
Menu items promoted ahead of the opening include Vietnamese egg cream coffee, brown sugar lattes, and golden fish balls with dipping sauce.
The new business also announced that they are hiring.
