SAN ANGELO, TX — MMI Hotel Group has assumed management responsibilities for the AmericInn by Wyndham in San Angelo as part of a broader expansion into the Texas market.
"This strategic expansion strengthens MMI’s growing footprint in the Texas market and further deepens its relationship with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s largest hotel franchisors," information released stated.
The San Angelo AmericInn, located at 2580 Southwest Blvd, features 84 rooms and amenities such as complimentary breakfast, a fitness and business center, a Lobby Market, and a fire pit by the outdoor pool. MMI will oversee day-to-day operations, revenue management, marketing, and guest satisfaction at the property.
The San Angelo hotel is one of three new Texas properties MMI is managing, alongside a dual-branded La Quinta Inn & Suites and Hawthorn Extended Stay in Pflugerville.
“These new properties reflect our ongoing commitment to identifying high-potential opportunities and maximizing value for owners, guests, and brand partners,” said Dominic Buompastore, MMI’s vice president of operations.
The hotels are owned by Texas developers Mike Forrest and Brett Emerson, who selected MMI to lead the next phase of growth for the properties. Emerson said the hotels were designed with “long-term community impact in mind.”
Founded in 1956, MMI Hotel Group is a private, full-service hotel management company focused "principally on people."
