Walls Go Up at San Angelo's Longhorn Steakhouse

SAN ANGELO, TX— Walls have started going up at the Longhorn Steakhouse location in San Angelo.

Longhorn Steakhouse is getting walls up after the plumbing and foundational work was complete. Many people have said the location looks small but, even with nearly two walls up, the building already looks bigger.

The popular steakhouse chain had the project in the works back in 2022, according to a City of San Angelo permits and inspections report, but the restaurant is finally coming to fruition.

Longhorn Steakhouse was approved for a $2.4 million permit, and construction started in early 2025 at 3980 Loop 306, next to Sunset Mall and across from Chili’s Bar and Grill.

One could speculate that, barring any setbacks, Longhorn Steakhouse will be open either this year or early next year.
