SAN ANGELO, TX – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open in San Angelo on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at 2210 N. Bryant Blvd.
The location will be operated by Jordan Hancock, who currently owns the Chick-fil-A inside Sunset Mall.
"Chick-fil-A’s franchise model is essential to how the restaurant serves others," information from Chick-fil-A stated. "Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operators are small business owners, not passive investors, who work in their restaurants side by side with their Team Members each day."
Hancock, a Georgia native who has lived in San Angelo for four years, has worked with Chick-fil-A since 2010. His experience includes time in the Chick-fil-A Leadership Development Program, where he oversaw operations at 16 locations before becoming the local Owner-Operator at Sunset Mall in 2021.
“For more than 15 years, Chick-fil-A has been an essential part of my life and my family’s life,” Hancock said. “I’m honored to continue serving this community and look forward to creating an environment where Team Members can build meaningful careers and Guests feel truly welcomed. I hope the restaurant can become an epicenter of opportunity and growth for those looking to make a positive impact on their futures.”
The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, and mobile-thru service. This marks the fifth Chick-fil-A location serving the San Angelo market.
The new location is expected to employ about 100 full- and part-time workers. Chick-fil-A offers employees hands-on training, mentoring, and access to scholarships for continued education.
Chick-fil-A has also donated $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant’s opening. The funds will support hunger relief efforts in the area.
Additionally, the new location will participate in Chick-fil-A’s Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to local food banks, shelters, and nonprofit organizations. The restaurant is also recognizing 100 local heroes with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
Chick-fil-A Bryant Blvd. & 23rd St. will serve the chain’s signature menu.
