SAN ANGELO, TX — A locally owned business, Premier Tax Service, celebrated its five-year anniversary Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025.
Owner Diana Ellison, who is from Ozona, said she spent 17 years with another tax service company before deciding to start her own business.
She has since expanded from the original location at 2000 W. Beauregard Ave. with a second office at 327 W. 11th St., Suite A.
Ellison said she now has 22 people working at Premier Tax Service.
“I’ve built a pretty good team,” Ellison said. “We’re not just a tax service. We’re more like a financial hub. We have accounting services, credit repair, life insurance, health insurance, all under one roof, and you can get all the important financial literacy that a lot of people lack.”
Ellison said tax season begins Monday, Jan. 27, but they’ve already had people trickling in to get started.
The IRS said in a statement it expects more than 140 million individual tax returns to be filed by the April 15 deadline.
