Source of Fire at Car Dealership Not Confirmed

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— The source of the fire at Mitchell-Buick GMC has not been confirmed as the investigation is still ongoing.

Mike Mitchell, of Mitchell-Buick GMC, confirmed to San Angelo LIVE! that the cause of the fire at the dealership has not yet been confirmed.

The investigation into what caused the fire is still ongoing. While there was an EV in the service department, it could not be confirmed as the source.

Mitchell also said that the dealership is operating as usual despite the fire.

In a Facebook post, Mitchell Buick-GMC said:

Dear San Angelo,

We are thankful for the outpouring of support and the quick response of the San Angelo Fire Department to last night’s fire at Mitchell Buick- GMC.

While the Service & Parts Department will be temporarily closed, the Sales Department will be available in the Pre-Owned Center building; however, we currently do not have phone service.

We thank you for your patience as we work to return to normal operations. We will keep you updated as new information becomes available.

Mitchell also said that the dealership is operating as usual despite the fire.
