The site, named "Stingray," includes all necessary regulatory approvals and a completed facility extension agreement with ONCOR. Cipher paid $4.1 million in cash and will pay a variable fee of $1.5 per megawatt-hour for the first five years of the site’s operation. The facility is scheduled to begin power consumption in the first half of 2026.

“Adding the 100 MW Stingray site enhances our expanding pipeline,” said Tyler Page, Cipher’s CEO. “This complements other sites scheduled to energize in 2025 and 2027.”

With the addition, Cipher’s active portfolio spans 2.6 gigawatts across 11 sites.
