Bass Pro Shops Breaks Ground for New Odessa Location

ODESSA, TX — Construction has officially begun on a new 100,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops location in Odessa.

The groundbreaking event, held Wednesday, brought together representatives from the City of Odessa, the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, and ICA Properties. The store, positioned at the intersection of Highway 191 and Mission Boulevard near the Cinergy Family Entertainment Center, is set to be the largest outdoor retailer in Odessa and across the Permian Basin, according to the City of Odessa. 

This new location is expected to open in 2025. 

In preparation for the store’s opening, Bass Pro Shops plans to announce a hiring event in the coming months to staff the new facility.
