SAN ANGELO, TX — After a long wait, "Awesome Donuts" is officially open for business.

Located at the corner of Southwest Boulevard and Green Meadow Drive, the restaurant at 4382 Southwest Boulevard is celebrating its grand opening today, September 30, 2024.

Awesome Donuts Opens in San Angelo

Awesome Donuts was originally issued a building permit in September 2022 for $650,000. 

In addition to serving donuts, the menu offers sandwiches, smoothies, bagels, biscuits, kolaches, croissants and ice cream. 

To mark the grand opening, the first five customers received a dozen donuts and a limited-edition VIP tumbler. Additionally, 50 free VIP memberships were distributed. 

Awesome Donuts will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.

Any place new in this town that involves food is impossible to get in for the first 6 months!  Folks in this town do like to eat!
