SAN ANGELO, TX— San Angelo’s bowling alley has closed for a couple months to renovate.
Stadium Lanes is closing for renovations that will update and improve the bowling alley as well as update the billiards and game room and restrooms.
According to a Facebook post by Stadium Lane’s Bowling Alley:
Dear Valued Customers:
Changes and improvements are coming to Stadium Lanes.
Our entertainment venue is making a substantial financial commitment to improving the overall customer expierence while offering a broader range of entertainment activities for our patrons.
We will be replacing pinspotter machines, and to do that we must close for about five to six weeks.
Right now, Stadium Lanes plans to begin renovations on August 25th and reopen around October 7th.
We will post updates on this Facebook page.
As part of our plan to improve Stadium Lames, we will be repurposing space in our center to improve the overall experience. In addition to new pinspotters, a new scoring system will also be installed. The renovations plan will result in a 20-lane house, thus making room for a new billiards/game area and new restrooms. In the latter stages of these renovations, one can expect to see other décor updates as well.
Of course, these changes will affect our operation over the next several months.
Although bowling operations will be closed for five to six weeks, Fleming’s Diner will remain open.
Thank you in advance for your patience in allowing us to improve Stadium Lanes.
Stadium lanes has served our community for the last 62 years and we hope these improvements will allow us to serve San Angelo for another 60 plus years.
