Unique 'One-of-a-Kind' Flower Shop Opens in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — A new and unique flower shop has opened up right here in San Angelo and it is truly one of a kind.

"Infinity Flowers & Gifts," located at 110A Alexander Street and right across from the Whataburger on Sherwood Way, is a one-of-a-kind flower shop as their flowers do not die. It was said that the flowers are made from a tapioca root and are not grown as flowers like roses, irises, or tulips. So while other shops and supermarkets sell "real" flowers, they eventually wilt and die but the flowers from Infinity Flowers & Gifts won't.

Also, Infinity Flowers & Gifts, as far as owner Kelly Brennan knows, is the only brick-and-mortar store in the United States that sells these types of flowers.

"The three girls that invented it were on 'Shark Tank' and they did get some support from some big companies but they decided to go on their own," said Brennan. "When I told them I wanted wholesale accounts to open a shop, they said it's never been done."

Customers can bring in a picture of a bouquet and Infinity Flowers & Gifts can recreate that bouquet, and the flowers will stay forever. These flowers were actually featured on Shark Tank before.

"Come see Infinity Flowers," Brennan said. "The flowers that never die. They are made from a tapioca root and it's very unique. We do special events like birthday parties, weddings, and then we have home decor. Then, we also have grab-and-go’s. You can grab a bouquet, ready to go, in-and-out."

All these flowers are handmade and cost about half of what flowers from a store or a florist cost.

"We have several hundred different types of flowers," Brennen said. "We try to match... we have tulips, roses, and peonies."

Infinity Flowers & Gifts is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is closed on Sunday and Monday.
