New Bank Under Construction in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — Construction crews are hard at work on the south side of San Angelo building a new bank.

Back in the March 2024 building and inspection report, Prosperity Bank had a permit issued in the amount of $2,500,000 to build another location at 6105 Sherwood Way, next to the new Whataburger and in front of Kohl’s Department Store.

The new bank would not open until 2025, and no work had been done on the location for a few months. Now, construction crews have poured the foundation and beams are going up as work has begun.

An official opening date for the new Prosperity Bank location has not been set but work has started.
