SAN ANGELO, TX —There is an update for the new Starbucks taking over the old Bush’s Chicken at 1225 Knickerbocker Rd. Starbucks recently put up a “Now Hiring” sign as obvious renovations are underway at the location.

In the June 2024 Building and Inspections report, Starbucks requested a permit for $400,000 worth of renovations, which the City of San Angelo approved. Those renovations are underway as construction equipment and heavy machinery were present on site.

San Angelo LIVE! reported that Starbucks planned to take over this location back in January. Read more on that here.
There is no projected opening date yet, but this will be the sixth Starbucks coffee shop in San Angelo.
