Blue Agave Bar & Mexican Kitchen Now Serving

SAN ANGELO, TX — The location once home to Troubadors Bar and Grill and The Concho Pearl Icehouse is now home to a new establishment, Blue Agave Bar & Mexican Kitchen.

The business announced today that a soft opening is underway and that patrons are invited to indulge in a variety of “delicious Mexican cuisine.”

The restaurant is located at 1605 S Chadbourne Street.

Previously, Troubadors Bar and Grill occupied the space until it closed following a break-in.

Before that, it housed The Concho Pearl Icehouse.

Oh boy!! Angelo really needs another mexican food restaurant and with Bidens food prices they will probably only be successful at the bar part until one of the southside slugs starts trouble again.

They probably won't even make it with the bar.  Bar sales are down in the downtown area and probably won't come back. I give them 2 years max and they'll shudder.

We need some innovative entrepreneurs to cut through all the red tape and help trickle down some major funds throughout the community and all over its proverbial face. Hopefully this is just a mafia front business and not another restaurant or bar.

They should hire some of them Hawk Tuah girls from the brothel our lovely millionaire mayor owns. Would keep them in business for a while imo.

I'll bet you that a polycule of feral LGBTQ+ bears (ursus genus, not homo genus,) acting as mayor could improve the local economy enough so that she wouldn't have to trouble the ladies, (of the night or otherwise).

Demonstrating their collective intelligence and the superiority of group thinking over the capacities of the mere individual, we can deftly move San Angelo foward into the brave new realities of the 21st century!

You're right we should just hire a bunch of furries with bunny tails to serve us alcohol now! BRILLIANT

It's lesbian grizzly bears running city hall and every other elected local office in the city or you're a bigot. (And trans grizzly bears so long as they fully transitioned in the wild.)

Progress

Above: "Why are you so frightened and insecure?"

Also, city hall should mandate that only "Lizzo types" can be servers, so as to nourish man, the social animal.

I'll have to give it to you, Mayor Gunter is rough around the edges but she's no grizzly. More like an overpaid brothel worker who has seen bears.

Showed up at 11:40 to have lunch today. The lights were on and employees were inside, but we were just waved away to leave. My husband tried to get someone to come to the door and tell us their hours, but at that point we were just ignored. I'll be surprised if they last until the end of the year.

I hate when I go to check out a new place and the help is comprised of young investors too busy trading crypto and fiddling with their little portfolios on the Robinhood app to make me a drink!

It's more likely they were in an emergency meeting on which door to use in case of an immigration raid. These things need to be taken care of so they don't lose cooks, bussers and waitstaff...ya know kind of like insider trading only with illegals.

I don't know why anyone is still coming from Mexico to a city that pays waitstaff like Mexico, but I had not considered that their employees might not speak English. Not having enough money to pay off officials, such as those in immigration, is a sure fire sign of impending restaurant failure.
