SAN ANGELO, TX – Amazon's Prime Day event returns for its 10th year on July 16 at 12:01 a.m. PDT, running through July 17. Prime members will have exclusive access to millions of deals on popular brands like Clinique, Allbirds, Sony, KitchenAid, and more.
The event will feature new deals dropping as frequently as every five minutes during select periods, allowing members to discover fresh bargains throughout the two-day sale. Invite-only deals are also back, offering exclusive discounts such as up to 40% off Sony Wireless Headphones and up to 30% off Peloton products. Members can request invitations for these limited-time offers expected to sell out quickly.
“Prime Day is a celebration of the value we bring to members all year long, featuring millions of deals across more than 35 product categories,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime. “Last year, Amazon customers saved nearly $24 billion from deals and coupons, with Prime members enjoying over $2.5 billion in savings during Prime Day 2023.”
In addition to the main event, early access deals are available now on items from New Balance, HP, and Coach. Influencers such as Jess Sims and Millie Bobby Brown will also unveil exclusive early deals from July 8 to July 15.
This year, Megan Thee Stallion will kick off Prime Day with her new music video and original song, “It’s Prime Day,” available exclusively on Amazon Music. Prime members can shop items inspired by her music video, including early deals on her Hot Girl Summer tour merchandise.
For back-to-school and off-to-college shopping, Amazon offers guides with deals on essentials for students and teachers. Young adults and college students can try Prime Student with a six-month trial, then pay $7.49 per month or $69 per year. Discounts include 40% off Amazon Basics school supplies and Amazon Essentials apparel.
Prime membership is required to access all Prime Day deals. Membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year in the U.S., with a free 30-day trial available. Young adults aged 18-24 and qualifying government assistance recipients can receive discounted memberships.
