Major New Western Wear Store Coming to San Angelo

SAN ANGELO— San Angelo will soon be getting a new Boot Barn retail store near Hobby Lobby.

According to the City of San Angelo’s Permit and Inspection Report, a permit was issued to Boot Barn to take over at 2763 Southwest Boulevard next to Hobby Lobby. Crews have begun work renovating the location and have put up signs that say "Boot Barn Coming Soon".

Boot Barn is a western clothing store that sells of course boots, work boots, cowboy boots, clothing, outerwear, and accessories. They also sell home décor, bedding, hats, belts, and buckles.

With Blair’s Western Wear closing down on Sherwood Way, San Angelo was sure to need another country location.

The permit for Boot Barn was issued in the amount of $350,000.
