SAN ANGELO, TX — Texas Bank announced the promotions of two key members of its local banking team this week.
Cindy Ringer was promoted from Senior Vice President Operations to Executive Vice President Operations.
Cindy oversees all the operations and deposit side of the bank. Her duties also include HR and security.
Cindy has just celebrated her 25th year with Texas Bank when she simultaneously received her promotion to Executive Vice President. Cindy had another 25 years prior experience in banking before she started as a branch manager at our College Hills branch in 1998. Since then, she has held many titles. She was promoted in 2014 to Vice President, Vice President Cashier in 2016 and Senior Vice President in 2019. Cindy is very involved with the community serving as a member of the Sunrise Rotary and the Treasurer of the San Angelo Prayer Breakfast.
Katherine Peterson was promoted from Trust Administrator to Assistant Vice President of Trust.
Her duties include helping customers manage trusts, investments, agency accounts, and even real estate and oil and gas assets. Texas Bank’s Trust Department provides trust management, estate, and investment management services. A Llano native, Katherine relocated to San Angelo shortly after high school to attend Angelo State University on a golf scholarship. In 2019, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and in 2021 received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from ASU. She started as a Teller at Texas Bank in 2020, and that’s where her banking career began. In 2021 and the majority of 2022, she served the Trust Department as a Trust Operation Clerk and by the end of 2022 she was a Trust Administrator. Katherine completed the Texas Trust School training in 2023, which ultimately led to her promotion in the Trust Department as the Assistant Vice President of Trust.
