New Whataburger Finally Open!

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo’s newest Whataburger gave prizes to the first 100 guests today.

The first person in the drive-thru and the first person in line at the front door received a free meal and a "gift box" valued at $350. Everyone following received Whataburger merchandise.

The fourth Whataburger in town officially opened at 5855 Sherwood Way and features a “spacious dining room” with a custom mural featuring San Angelo’s hometown landmarks.

Information delivered to San Angelo LIVE! also states that the fast-food establishment will have “digital menu boards” inside and outside and a double drive-thru to “best serve guests.”

“We hope you’ll have a chance to stop by, see what’s cooking – including limited-time offers – and visit our latest restaurant,” Whataburger stated. “The Whataburger team of 60 local employees, whom we call Family Members, will be led by Operating Partner Bryanna Hernandez. It is ready to serve the community with 24-hour service in the dining room and drive-thru, curbside with the Whataburger App, or delivery through the app.”

By the end of this week, there will be four Whataburgers operating in San Angelo, as the Knickerbocker location is closed due to renovations.

The fast food restaurant is also open at its 3202 Sherwood Way and 1830 N Bryant Blvd locations.
